At Music Wales we believe in allowing all acts that record with us the same opportunity to sell their music as those given to major artistes.  We carefully select the acts that we work with as we have to maintain a high standard of product that we offer to the major retailers.

Our recording and CD release package for bands includes;

1. •One week recording at The Music Wales Studios.
   

1. •1000 retail ready CDs including paper parts, catalogue number and barcode.
   

1. •Official Charts registration
   

1. •Album listed on Amazon, HMV,  Play.com and other major online sites.
   

1. •Album available digitally via iTunes and major download sites.
   

1. •CD stocked in Tesco / Asda stores near to the act's hometown (within Wales)

3. •CD also available to order from HMV stores and most leading independent music stores  throughout the UK (if the stores receive enough orders they will stock it on their shelves).
   

We monitor sales of CDs in the act's home area and if sales are strong then we begin to 'roll out' the CD to the surrounding area and, if sales continue to be strong then to the whole of Wales.  Please note that we are not a management company and it is up to the act to promote themselves and their product in order to maximise sales.

The up front cost for the above is £2,000 and we keep 200 CDs initially for distribution to stores / online sites.  We pay the act back at a rate of £3.75 plus VAT for CDs sold and the act is free to sell CDs direct to the public at gigs.  Most acts sell their CDs at £10 meaning that they only have to sell 200 copies to see a return their investment .

We offer a similar deal to singers with tracks but with less recording time, eg. Two days recording, one day mixing and 1000 CDs for £1,675
